Curing the incurable

Warning: the following is satire!

I'm glad to see the Reverend Ted Haggard is cured of his homosexuality. Christians are now free to condemn and persecute homosexuals without casting suspicion upon themselves. Recall several months ago when James Dobson, founder of the hate group Focus on the Family, withdrew himself from Haggard's counseling team claiming that his case of gay was so severe that it would take three years to cure him. Maybe he didn't want to catch a case of gay himself. I'm sure Jesus would be proud of Dobson's compassion. Amazingly, what should have taken three years took only three weeks. Doubly impressive is the fact that by definition haggard means not easily cured. One other point, meth addiction is very difficult to overcome. Kudos to his doctors. Let the patient trials begin!

Reality check: you can't cure what isn't a disease.

My prediction: Haggard will be smoking meth and bending over for hot beef injections in three months.
