Farewell, Kurt Vonnegut

And so it goes. I think Kurt Vonnegut was one of the greatest writers I've ever read. His quirky writing style enables the reader to take breaks, often, amidst long narratives. He was able to make sad situations very humorous. While I have not read all of his works, I am fortunate to have read two of his best novels, Slaughterhouse Five and Cat's Cradle. I think everyone should read both of these books. Everyone can identify with Billy Pilgrim. I've often wished that I could travel back and forth through time in order to revisit some of the things that happened to me. Here's to you, Kurt. I will toast you with shot of Ice-nine. And so it goes.
