Fred Thompson is the biggest threat

Fred Thompson could win, and the Democrats should be on their guard for him. What makes him so appealing? Hollywood! As much as conservatives hate Hollywood, America is star struck. Seriously, why else would Arnold Schwarzenegger win the governorship of California? We envy fame. Who knows what he stands for and who cares? He's famous, right? I hope the Democrats can pin him down on the issues. Hound him on the fact that he is anti-choice and pro big business. There may be 2 areas of weakness for him. First, he might not be good at campaigning. There is vast difference between a Senate contest and one encompassing the entire country. Then again, he is Hollywood so that may be an obstacle he can hurdle. Secondly, what is his stance on the Iraq War? If he is for it, he is beatable because he is out of touch with America. If he is against it, then he will be tough to beat.
