Obama and the Black Vote

The NY Times ran story this morning how Obama is siphoning the black vote from Hillary. Personally, I don't know why this is such a big deal or why the media insists on sensationalizing it. Obama is a more viable candidate. Fox News would have you believe that Hillary is stomping Obama in the polls because she is the dream candidate for the right wing, especially considering the field of losers for the Republicans. The reality is that Obama appeals to everyone, whereas Hillary represents the self-absorbed among us. Obama is not stealing the black vote from Hillary because of his race, rather because he is a better candidate.
