President Kucinich?
The horrible Bush Presidency is costing the GOP. About the only thing they could do at this point is resuscitate Ronald Reagan, and he might barely eek out Dennis Kucinich...barely. Bush has an approval rating of 28%. It's not just that his policies are crap, but his refusal to change or admit he was/is wrong. The Iraq war is a loser, and every Republican that is in favor of it, which is all of them, will pay dearly. George W. Bush is a liability. GOP candidates, as much as they try, can't distance themselves enough. Every candidate feels he must cater to the religious right vote. It's not working because they've been lied to and have become apathetic. Also, we (meaning those of us that aren't crazy) are greater in numbers, and we are sick of getting stuck with losers because the main election issues are gay marriage, abortion and stem cell research. If you thought the beating the GOP took in the 2006 election was bad, you ain't seen nothing yet in 2008 so long as Bush and the GOP keep up this disastrous course.

Let us hope so! I only hope that Democrats (or progessives in general) don't screw it up (as they have in the past). It's time to convince Americans that progressive thinking is in their best interest and that issues of faith (or the presence or absence of it) is a personal matter. By the way, Mitt Romney's recent sucking up to Pat Robertson makes me puke. If he only knew how much Fundamentalists disdain Mormons.
