Two Enemies in the War on Terror

Americans have two enemies in the war on terror: Al Qaeda and the Bush Administration. Al Qaeda is a group of loosely linked organizations that commit acts of terror around the world. It is not tightly organized or coordinated as say the Ku Klux Klan, the IRA or Hezbollah. It is a phrase the Bush Administration uses to describe anyone that is an enemy of the US that isn't tied to a country or an already established group. They only way to defeat Al Qaeda would be if all it's members spontaneously died at once.

The other enemy of the American people in the War on Terror is the Bush Administration. This war is a fictional war created by the administration, but it is inflicting the very thing it claims to be at war against: terror. In the process of fighting this so called war, the administration has inflicted terror upon us, and it has made us fear our government as it has diminished our civil liberties. Well, the tide is turning on this war. The American people are winning and the Bush Administration is losing. Calls to inflict terror by this adminstration are falling on deaf ears as Bush is reaching an all-time low in his popularity. Republican presidential candidates, such as Guido, Elmer and Mr. Magoo, that try to use similar language are not being taken seriously. We are laughing at you. We are the American people. We have been through tough times in our past. We will grow stronger and the Bush Administration will be gone. Let's just hope it doesn't inflict too much damage before January 2009.
