Aren't there any good old folks homes in Arizona?

As hard has McCain tries, he will not get the Republican nomination, and he'll probably not get much enthusiastic support from the Christian right (not correct, but far out wackos). That doesn't stop him from trying. I suppose McCain would not only prefer a Christian president, but a white male as well. Frankly, I'd like to see a little diversity in our candidate pool. You know where the same old same old has gotten us. As for McCain, it's time for you to be put out to pasture.
