In 2000, George W. Bush (well, really Karl Rove) made John McCain his bitch. McCain was punked so bad in 2000 that in a 2000 NPR interview with Bob Edwards when asked if he would consider another run for President, he said "no, I don't think so." Hmm, I guess he changed his mind. Bitches usually do that (see Hillary and the Iraq war). John McCain is now the bitch of the Christian right, a group he once chided as agents of intolerance. McCain has flip-flopped on many issues. He was once against torture, but now he is for it. He is still Bush's bitch because he is running on the premise of everything that this failed administration has done is great. That strategy will not work for him.
Bush's Bitch will lose in 2008 whether it's to Hillary or Obama. In fact, if McCain wants to lose with dignity, he should hope Obama gets the Democratic nomination. If he runs against Hillary, he will become her bitch as well. He will get punked so bad by her he'll probably have to resign his Senate seat and fade off into the Arizona sunset from the embarrassment.
