Let's honor the life of Ted by passing health care reform
There was no better advocate for universal health care than than Ted Kennedy. There was no better advocate in the Senate for the common American than Ted. I am very sad that he passed away last night. His brothers were phenoms with tons of potential, but were "done too soon" and never achieved the greatness that Ted Kennedy achieved as a politician. This man spent his entire career fighting for you. Whether you liked him or not, he was fighting for you. To the right-wing, he was often demonized, but he still fought for their rights nonetheless. He was demonized as a liberal, a title he wore proudly. America owes this man a debt of gratitude for what he's done for our country and for how he's honorably served. When it came to other issues such as the middle class, the American worker and civil rights, Ted Kennedy was a leader for our rights. America, the Congress and the White House must pass a health care reform bill that will make Ted Kennedy proud.
