Messed up Right Wing Priorities

While Rudy and Mitt are battling it out over who is less pro gay marriage and less pro-choice, the country is involved in wars on two fronts. Both of these chumps have held high office Blue States where you can only get elected to such offices by being liberal to moderate. This is a past that is on record and from which they cannot hide. Yet, they feel they must pander to the Religious Right in order to get elected, which means focusing on issues of secondary importance to the country.

Let's face it, neither one of these guys is going to get the nomination. I would have much more respect for them if they stuck to their moderate roots. However, the fact that candidates have to pander to the religious right is pathetic. There are more important things to worry about such as the war in Iraq that most of America doesn't support, the ballooning deficit, the environment, the rising cost of health care and the millions of uninsured Americans, children getting left behind in our education system, jobs going overseas, but the right wing doesn't care where you stand on those issues so long as you're against abortion and gay marriage.
